It's Friday, August 31. I am doing a few last minute things to get ready to leave Sunday. I have done some work for one of my PI clients, have checked the weather to see if the remnants of Isaac will interfere, and am entering data into the iPhone for later retrieval. I am expecting to go to California and back on this journey, see some family, see some friends and see if I can catch the mood of the country as I wander along.
